Akrapovič secured its first world championship title in 2000 with Colin Edwards (Castrol Honda) claiming the #WorldSBK crown on his #Honda RC51. The exhaust system featured large tube diameters and a complex collector element, incorporating innovative design solutions for strength and durability. During our collaboration with the Castrol Honda team, we produced various exhaust systems and here is one of them.

Akrapovič is delighted to announce that signed a multi-year agreement that will see Akrapovič become a Ferrari Hypercar Technical Partner.This arrangement between the two highly respected companies will see close cooperation on technical aspects, beginning with the Le Mans Hypercar, the Ferrari 499P, which is competing for honours in the top class of the FIA World Endurance Championship (Le Mans Hypercar ‒ LMH).Akrapovič has a documented passion for racing, and this has brought the company to share innovation and development with Ferrari. In 2005, Akrapovič introduced a hexagonal muffler design that sparked an exhaust system revolution. Years later, there was no question what exhaust shape to fit on the iconic#Ducati1098.
